Armitage Interiors is a full service home design, renovation & maintenance company based out of New Hope, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2013 and run by a wife & husband team, we excel in balancing heirloom quality design and construction with modern functionality to create inspiration and affirming spaces. We offer services ranging from color consultation and basic home maintenance to a full design overhaul and build-out.
Emeline Tinsman, owner of Armitage Interiors, is a Bucks County native and current resident of New Hope. Since graduating from Philadelphia University with a B.S. in Interior Design in 2009, Emeline has plied her artistic vision in the fields of furniture and cabinetry design, sustainable design, and high-end residential interior design. She often draws on antiquity, local artistry and clients personal heirlooms in her work. She is an expert at placing the historical in a contemporary context. She admires luxury in simplicity, in grounded, earthy tones. She resides just outside of New Hope with Cody, their son, puppy and two cats.
Cody Jones was raised working on his parents’ rental properties and doing odd jobs for allowance money. After learning construction on the west coast, and traveling extensively, Cody returned home to study fine woodworking and hone his craft in Philadelphia. Cody has worked for over a decade in the trades in various capacities. He built and installed custom cabinetry and architectural installations in high rises all over philadelphia and the main line. He also spent years crafting beautiful one of a kind modern furniture pieces for George Nakashima woodworker as well as restoring and conserving experimental architecture for the Nakashima Foundation for Peace and the World Monuments Fund.
