Emeline Tinsman, Allied ASID

Emeline graduated with a Bachelor's in Interior Design from Philadelphia University in 2009. Her experience in luxury interior design was honed while working at Michele Plachter Design. Emeline's artistic vision and functional style have graced Philadelphia's historic homes in Old City, suburban villas on the Main Line, and luxury apartments in Center City. The co-founder of Bucks County's Armitage Interiors, Emeline is an expert in placing contemporary elements in a historical context, blending antiquity, local artistry, and clients' personal heirlooms to create a unique and personalized aesthetic. With her unparalleled ability to design custom millwork and cabinetry that blends seamlessly into its surrounding architecture, Emeline's work stands out in a crowded field. Her admiration for luxury in simplicity and passion for grounded, earthy tones are reflected in her unique designs.

Cody Jones

As an experienced carpenter and craftsman, Cody honed his skills working on luxurious second homes and remodels in the San Juan Islands. He later worked for furniture studios, where he was responsible for restoring antiques and refinishing, as well as crafting custom commissions. As a member of a high-end custom cabinet shop, he crafted and installed custom built-ins and cabinetry across Greater Philadelphia. Before co-founding Armitage Interiors, Cody spent time working for the George Nakashima Woodworker furniture studio, where he learned the ethics of historical conservation. During his time there, he restored and renovated the experimental architecture of the Nakashima compound in partnership with the Nakashima Foundation for Peace and the World Monuments Fund. With his experience and expertise, Cody delivers significant value and knowledge to Armitage Interiors' home renovation projects.
